The machine clinic was hosted by a variety of Ziegler professionals including Technical Coordinators, Certified Demo Operators, Attachment Specialists, Machine Sales, In-Branch Contacts, and Marketing, providing an extensive knowledge base. Attendees learned about oil testing procedures through the Ziegler Rebuild Center in Bloomington, Minnesota, for all types and brands of machines — not just Caterpillar — and how those results can be tracked through an online profile.
Customers also had the chance to meet and get to know contacts within their local branch. The Columbus, Minnesota, Branch Operations Manager Randy VanderHeyden led them through a tour of the facility. Those attending were given a behind-the-scenes look at the parts department, the fully-equipped service department, and the newest lineup of machinery in the yard. The evening wrapped up with a barbecue dinner provided by Von Hansons catering.
With more than 100 years in the business, Ziegler CAT has 2,600 employees in 27 locations in Minnesota and Iowa, making it one of the largest Caterpillar dealers in North America.
