Chris Harmon, director of field operations, The Hagerman Group, is extremely pleased with the progress being made at the Veterans National Memorial Shrine and Museum.
“We’ve been working on the concrete foundations and walls for the last 60 days. We are just about finished with that portion of the construction. We have some cleaning up to do on the wall but now it will have time to cure before we pour the sidewalks in the spring,” said Harmon. “We still have quite a bit of work to do on electrical, landscaping, and installing flag poles before the actual wall panels are installed in the spring.”
The target date for dedication is projected for Memorial Weekend in May of 2021. Fundraising efforts continue toward the goal of $1.7 million for Phase I of the construction efforts.
