With 29 years of experience, Lehman has been involved in the design of hundreds of K-12 school and higher education projects. His recent project experience includes the award-winning Tri Star Career Compact in Celina, OH, the new Columbia City High School in Columbia City, IN, and the renovation of Bryce & Ott Halls for Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis.
“Tim practices a truly integrated approach to design,” said Steve Wilczynski, AIA, executive director of Fanning Howey’s Ohio offices. “His leadership will deepen collaboration between Fanning Howey’s architects, interior designers, and engineers.”
Lehman received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Toledo. He is a registered engineer in seven states and a graduate of the ACEC Ohio Rising Leaders program. Lehman has taken over the Chief Engineering Officer position from Terry Liette, PE, a former principal and owner with Fanning Howey, who retired in December 2020.

Fanning Howey has also elevated mechanical engineer Mark Hopf, PE, to the position of mechanical discipline director. In his new position, Hopf leads Fanning Howey’s team of mechanical engineers in Indiana and Ohio.
As a Certified Energy Manager and an expert in rigorous energy modeling and life-cycle cost analysis procedures, Hopf helps clients spend less money on energy and more money on students. His recent project experience includes the award-winning Tri Star Career Compact in Celina, OH, the new Columbia City High School in Columbia City, IN, and the new West Point Elementary School on the campus of the West Point Military Academy.

Hopf received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University. He is a registered engineer in six states and a Certified Energy Manager. He
serves on engineering advisory councils for Wright State University and Tri Star Career Compact.
