INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Founded in 1937 by Paul I. Cripe as a surveying office, Cripe has grown into a design firm providing clients with architecture and interiors, civil engineering, survey and 3D laser scanning, energy and facilities, equipment planning, and real estate services.

As a Minority Business Enterprise, Cripe's work spans all industries with concentrations in the retail, education, government/municipalities, commercial and residential, and health care markets. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Cripe also has offices in Evansville, Bloomington, and Carmel.

The firm now welcomes five employees to the team and announces one promotion.

• Andrew Shepherdson has been hired as Field Surveyor in the Land Survey Department.
• Brayden VanDyke has been hired as Field Surveyor in the Land Survey Department.
• Darci Pellom, PLA, has been hired as Senior Project Manager in the Civil Engineering Department. Pellom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in landscape architecture from Purdue University and a Graduate Certificate in public management from IUPUI.
• Enas Mekhail has been hired as CAD Tech in the Architecture Department. Mekhail holds a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from the University of Alexandria.
• John Zant, PE, has been hired as Senior Project Manager in the Civil Engineering Department. Zant holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in technology from Purdue University.
• Adam Oak has been promoted to Party Chief in the Land Survey Department. He joined the Cripe team in May 2003.
• Stev Pierre, PE, has been promoted to Project Manager in the Civil Engineering Department. He joined the Cripe team in March 2011.
