ATLANTA, GA — Archer Western announces that Superintendent Bobby Hays has been honored with the Safety Leadership Award from the Associated General Contractors of Georgia. This honor is presented annually to a field supervisor who demonstrates exceptional commitment to creating and sustaining a safe work environment, maintaining an uncompromising dedication to safety, and earning the respect of their crews through strong leadership and care for all team members.
Hays recently led the $220 million expansion of the Snapfinger Water Reclamation Facility. At the peak of the project, he oversaw the safe execution of work performed by more than 150 field staff constructing a new facility while maintaining uninterrupted and safe operations of the existing plant. His leadership was especially critical during the planning and execution of challenging sewer and water line tie-ins, where pre-planning, coordination, and risk assessment ensured there were no interruptions to plant operations and no impacts to the surrounding communities.
