BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI — The Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) announces the recipients of their 2024 Safety Achievement Awards. These awards recognize CAM member companies for their outstanding commitment to workplace safety and health.
The Safety Achievement Awards are presented to companies based on their total hours worked, with recognition levels of Gold, Silver, or Bronze. To qualify, contractors must maintain an Experience Modification Rate below 1.0 and report Days Away/Restricted/Transfer Rates below 1.5 and Recordable Injury and Illness Rates below 2.3 — figures that demonstrate superior safety performance compared to industry averages.
The following companies received 2024 Safety Achievement Awards:

- 51,000 to 199,999 Hours Worked: Edgewood Electric LLC and L.S. Brinker
- 200,000 to 499,999 Hours Worked: Brinker Team Construction
- 500,000+ Hours Worked: De-Cal Inc.
- 0 to 50,999 Hours Worked: Detroit Dismantling Corporation
- 51,000 to 199,999 Hours Worked: Homrich
- 200,000 to 499,999 Hours Worked: Blaze Contracting Inc.
- 500,000+ Hours Worked: Wade Trim Group, Inc.
- 0 to 50,999 Hours Worked: George McIntosh Inc.
- 51,000 to 199,999 Hours Worked: Artisan Tile
- 200,000 to 499,999 Hours Worked: CSM Group
- 500,000+ Hours Worked: Motor City Electric

The Construction Association of Michigan is the oldest and largest regional construction association in the United States. Founded in 1885, CAM is a not-for-profit organization based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, consisting of over 1,700 member companies, including general contractors, subcontractors, equipment and material suppliers, architects, engineers, and service firms. CAM provides a vast resource of services, information, and training to its members within Michigan’s construction industry.
