DETROIT, MI — The Associated General Contractors of Michigan (AGC of Michigan) announces the winners of the 2025 Build Michigan Awards, which recognize excellence in commercial construction throughout the state. Six projects and construction teams were bestowed awards during the AGC of Michigan’s Annual Meeting.
“The Build Michigan Awards represent the most outstanding commercial construction projects completed in our state each year,” said Damian P. Hill, AGC of Michigan President. “These projects help revitalize cities, improve our economy, and contribute to our daily quality of life.”
The awards recognize commercial construction projects in the categories of building construction, construction management, design-build, federal/heavy, and environmental. Projects are judged on: meeting the challenge of a difficult job, excellence in project management, innovation in construction techniques, sensitivity to the environment, responsiveness to client needs, and the contractor’s contribution to the community.
The association also bestowed its Grand Award to the Christman/Brinker Corktown Transformation Joint Venture for the Michigan Central Station in Detroit, Michigan. This award recognizes the best project submitted in a given year.
