PORTLAND, OR — Lance Worth joins Stantec as a Mechanical Team Lead within the firm’s Buildings practice. Worth will be leading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) teams in projects across the Pacific Northwest, based out of Stantec’s Portland, Oregon, office.

Bringing 14 years of experience to the MEP practice, Worth has led design of HVAC and plumbing systems for projects across a variety of market sectors for federal, municipal, and commercial clients. His design work encompasses projects from initial concept through construction documents, permitting, shop drawing review, site construction observation, and construction closeout.

Specializing in energy usage, Worth has performed numerous energy modeling and life cycle cost analyses for both LEED and non-LEED projects. As a Certified Energy Manager, he brings experience as a systems integrator for MEP and building infrastructure, analyzing solutions to reduce energy consumption in a cost-effective approach.

Worth was the Lead Mechanical Engineer on the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Foreign Material Exploitation Laboratory, and he also played a role as Mechanical Lead in the City of Wichita’s Northwest Water Treatment Facility. Locally, Worth will have an active role on several outpatient services renovation projects, including the Oregon Health & Science University Hospital Expansion project and the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

“We’re excited to have Lance join our team and expand and lead our MEP practice in Oregon and across the Pacific Northwest,” said Mark Peckover, Stantec Electrical Engineering Principal. “His well-rounded experience will greatly enhance the service offerings we are able to bring to clients across the region, and we’re incredibly excited to welcome him to our growing team.”
