This past year has been a challenging one for associations to maintain programs and offer value to members while conducting business virtually. This is an all-too-familiar statement from many organizations.

The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), Indianapolis Chapter continued to work through the pandemic offering virtual monthly programs, virtual CDT Certification Classes, virtual presentations to Indiana college students, virtual continuing education classes by Indianapolis Members, and continued communication with members through CSI’s Newsletter, “The Winners Circle”, website, and social media.

In addition, the CSI Indianapolis Chapter celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2021. May 4 marked the association’s first in-person gathering in months with 70 attendees, including representatives from the Great Lakes Region.

Many people continued to work diligently for the CSI Indianapolis Chapter while trying to adjust to the changes in the business world and design industry from the past year. The Chapter was able to recognize these dedicated and talented professionals at the recent Awards Banquet and Annual Meeting on June 17 at the Rathskeller in downtown Indianapolis.
