INDIANAPOLIS – At ERMCO’s recent 60th Anniversary and Holiday Celebration, President and CEO Greg Gossett announced that effective January 1, 2023, he will move to the CEO role. Gossett will stay with the organization in that role throughout 2023, working with the executive team to create and enact the company’s strategic plan and ensuring the ongoing viability of the organization. Additionally, Gossett will continue to serve in his role as Chairman of the Board.

It was also announced that effective January 1, 2023, ERMCO’s Executive Vice President and COO, David Peterson, will assume the role of President and COO. Peterson, having served as the Executive Vice President and COO for two years, will assume full responsibilities for the day-to-day activities of the organization and become a member of ERMCO’s Board of Directors. Peterson moves into this role as the 60-year-old company moves into a new era and a new 160,000-square-foot headquarters facility.

"We’ve built a strong team at ERMCO. We focus on education, mentorship, and building leaders. David has grown as a leader with ERMCO and has helped grow the company,” said Gossett. “I’m proud to have been able to work side-by-side with David for many years now and am confident he will do a tremendous job leading this organization into the future.”

Peterson began his career with ERMCO in 2000 and has been part of the company’s executive leadership team since 2009. Peterson has helped grow the company from a staff of 65 to over 130 and field staff of over 1200 nationally, increase revenue from $100 million to over $200 million, establish a national presence, and expand the company’s services from primarily installation to include design, preconstruction, systems and controls integration, and maintenance. Peterson is a current member of the American Cancer Society in Indiana Board of Directors, a former Indiana Subcontractors Association President, a former Chairman of the Board and former President of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana, and a former President of the Westfield Redevelopment Authority.

“I am honored and humbled that it is my turn to move ERMCO forward. I am committed to continuing the legacy of ERMCO, living up to the core values that made this company what it is today. Every decision made will be in the in the best interest of our employees, our clients, and our partners. I can’t wait to see what the future holds,” said Peterson.
