Ambrose Property Group Adds Two New Hires to Expanding Development Team

INDIANAPOLIS – Ambrose Property Group recently announced it has welcomed two new development managers to its growing team. Dan Kmiecik and Clay Smith join a development staff that has experienced notable growth over the last six months as the company scales operations and expands across the country.

“As we wrap up an exciting year at Ambrose, we want to keep that forward momentum, which means adding more talent to meet the demands of the industrial and logistics real estate market and our clients,” said Ambrose Executive Vice President of Development Grant Goldman. “Dan and Clay bring diverse backgrounds and experience to our team. We are thrilled to have them come aboard and hit the ground running.”

Kmiecik brings 15 years of experience and a strong civil engineering background in a variety of markets. Most recently, he worked at American Structurepoint as project manager overseeing federal, municipal, commercial and industrial developments. At Ambrose, Kmiecik will focus on build-to-suit developments with a national perspective. He is a Purdue University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Smith comes to Ambrose from Ferguson Construction Company where he spent the last nine years in project management and most recently as the general manager of the Indianapolis office. In his new role, he will facilitate the execution of speculative development projects. Smith holds a Master of Business Administration and bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Dayton.

Ambrose was recognized as the 2020 Industrial Developer of the Year by NAIOP Indiana. The company is developing new e-commerce, industrial and logistics projects across the Midwest in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Louisville, plus developments in Colorado, Florida, Maryland, and Utah.
