INDIANAPOLIS – On September 14th, the Central Indiana Community of Practice for the Lean Construction Institute held its second annual Innovation Fair. The Fair featured 11 unique exhibitors from the Education, Design, Prefabrication and Construction industries – representing a unique opportunity to bring members of the entire design and implementation community together in a science fair-type learning environment to share and learn from one another. Exhibitors believe it takes the entire industry sharing innovation to elevate processes and improve delivered projects.

“I'm really excited with LCI’s initiatives to challenge the traditional industry norms and push towards improving how all aspects of a project come together," said Ryan O'Connell, PE, Project Manager at HEAPY Engineering. "LCI’s efforts have really highlighted the benefits of creating a collaborative project environment where all experts can collectively influence the success of a project at any phase.”

“We participate in the LCI Innovation Fair each year for the opportunity to network with likeminded construction industry professionals," said Justin Reboulet, RID, NCIDQ, Director of Construction at Falkbuilt. "Falkbuilt’s construction methodology represents the LCI's goals of transforming the design and construction industry through modern Lean principles.”

LCI's next local industry event will be with the Indiana Construction Roundtable (ICR) in November. In December, LCI will host a Lean Cocktail event to kick off its 2023 theme of Integration in the Industry.
