McHugh Construction Adds Six Construction Professionals to Growing Nashville Team
David Wells joins McHugh as an Assistant Superintendent and brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in construction operations. Wells previously held positions as both Project Manager and Project Engineer where he oversaw multiple construction projects from conceptualization through completion. He has extensive experience analyzing structural conditions prior to construction to maximize efficiency of MEP and HVAC systems.
Shane Tresch, who has more than 20 years of experience, joins McHugh as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, Tresch provides management direction for an array of projects, including coordinating workers, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Tresch previously held roles as a Project Manager for several multifamily properties including the Bells Bluff Apartments in Nashville.
Alex Schreuders brings seven years of experience to his role as Assistant Project Manager. Schreuders previously held roles as both an Estimator and Project Manager where he drafted proposals, executed HVAC and mechanical estimates, and developed and maintained project schedules, budgets and cost controls. As Assistant Project Manager, Schreuders provides overall administrative and technical direction, including pricing proposals, issuing subcontractor and change orders and managing document control, to multiple Nashville projects.
Emmet Trost joins McHugh Construction as a Project Engineer. Trost is a recent graduate from Carthage College in Wisconsin with a degree in business management. He brings extensive internship experience in accounting, business and construction from various companies in the Midwest. In this role, Trost will assist with various bid-cycles as well as managing document control, project record keeping and actively participating in administration of all project quality planning.
Ryan Freeman joins McHugh Construction as a Safety Manager in the Nashville office. In this capacity, Freeman is responsible for implementing and overseeing all aspects of McHugh’s safety program and fostering a safety-first culture as the company grows. This includes planning and coordinating work to minimize risks, conducting comprehensive safety assessments and completing job hazard analyses for each major phase of work.
Dylan McDaniel joins McHugh Construction as a Project Engineer. McDaniel graduated from Middle Tennessee State University this year with a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Construction Management. Prior to that, he spent more than three years in the United States Navy, serving as an Engineering Aide where he specialized in a wide range of topographic surveying techniques. In his new role, McDaniel will assist in the management of general building construction projects, including processing and tracking submittals, RFIs and ASIs.
McHugh Construction, which recently completed construction of the Holiday Jones Hotel in East Nashville, opened its Nashville office in 2014 with three employees. Today, the company has more than 25 full-time managers and office staff and continues to expand its Nashville footprint.
