Clayton — a Georgia native who holds two degrees from Georgia Tech — comes to Garver with knowledge of the state’s transportation networks and 20 years of experience in transportation engineering design in the state, over 15 of those as a Project Manager. In this role, he will leverage this local knowledge to build a team of experts who will deliver solutions to improve Georgia’s transportation network.
“I’m excited to be joining Garver — a firm recognized in the industry and beyond for valuing its clients, taking care of its people, and doing what they say they’ll do,” Clayton said. “And the timing couldn’t have been better, considering Atlanta’s rapid growth and the need for transportation infrastructure improvement across the state.”
With a population exceeding 6 million, the demand for efficient transportation systems that help advance further economic development is paramount in the Atlanta metro. Clayton’s expertise and leadership allows Garver to play a vital role in expanding and enhancing these networks to meet the growing demands. From this position, he will tap into Garver’s resources to provide a variety of services to state and local agencies, including design for bridges, highways, roadways, along with traffic engineering, H&H, environmental solutions, and more.
“I’m excited to see Jeff elevate Garver’s suite of services in Atlanta,” said Garver Transportation Regional Team Leader John Cantabery, P.E.. “He’ll build on our tradition of success while working with DOTs, municipalities, and other agencies to contribute to the improvement of transportation across the state. Jeff’s extensive experience and relationships in Georgia will help us meet the evolving needs of state and local clients.”
