Since opening its first Atlanta office in 1996, the engineering, design, and construction company has seen rapid growth and job creation, increasing from three local team members to more than 300 employee-owners serving the Southeast region. The Atlanta team has already outgrown its current space in the new office and added 7,000 square feet, giving the team more capacity to serve clients and add employee-owners as needed.
“Atlanta is full of energy and innovation, which makes it the perfect home for us,” said Oko Buckle, Vice President and General Manager of the Atlanta office of Burns & McDonnell. “Growing our presence here shows our commitment to tackling construction, aviation, manufacturing and facility design, and other projects that will strengthen the metro area’s communities now and into the future.”
With its expanded office space in north Brookhaven, Burns & McDonnell plans to continue hiring and grow the Atlanta office by 30 percent over the next three years. There are more than 100 open job requisitions for Burns & McDonnell in Atlanta.
“Around every corner and every turn are signs of economic growth,” Ernst said. “With the expansion of its Atlanta office, Burns & McDonnell is not only creating local job opportunities but is also showing it is a company that understands our city’s and our country’s growing infrastructure needs.”
