TAMPA, FL — Sundt Construction, Inc., adds Tim Smith as a Project Executive to its Industrial Group. Smith will focus on the growth of Sundt’s water and wastewater market in Florida.

“Tim’s 25 years of technical expertise, management, and business development in the industry will serve us well. He is not only vastly knowledgeable in the water and wastewater market, but he is also a Florida native and tapped into the unique needs of the communities here,” said David Rieken, Vice President and Regional Manager for Sundt’s Industrial Group in Florida.

Smith is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida and a Certified Project Management Professional. He is also a member of the steering committee for the Gulf Coast chapter of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), the Florida Water Markets Committee of Florida DBIA, and member of the Special Events Committee for Region IV of the Florida section of the American Water Works Association.

Sundt’s history in Florida dates back more than 50 years. Some of the firm’s notable landmarks include LaunchPad 39A at Kennedy Space Center and the concrete core of One Atlantic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
