“We’re excited to have Mario back with Sundt,” said David Rieken, Regional Manager for Sundt’s Industrial Group. “His knowledge of Sundt and experience in the industry will help us grow in the region and pursue new opportunities.”
Duncan has over 10 years of experience in the industry working on projects ranging from $25 to $180 million. He rejoins Sundt where he previously worked for the Transportation Group, with a focus on civil and concrete construction. He has held positions such as a Field Engineer, Project Engineer, and Senior Project Engineer. His Sundt project history includes the US 54 Interchange and Old Fredericksburg Road in Texas and Ina Road Improvements in Arizona. Duncan recently worked on the State Road 429 Corridor Widening in Florida.
Sundt’s history in the Southeast dates back more than 50 years. Some of the firm’s notable area landmarks include Launch Pad 39A at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center, where NASA first launched U.S. astronauts into space, and the concrete core of One Atlantic Center in Atlanta, Georgia, built using an innovative “slipform” technique pioneered by Sundt and later used all over the country.
