“The team of professionals that Burns & McDonnell is assembling in Melbourne will allow us to deliver solutions to our growing number of clients working on state-of-the-art aerospace, defense, and space projects,” said Richard Pruss, Southeast Regional Manager for the Global Facilities Group at Burns & McDonnell.
The office will start with about 10 employee-owners and several more job openings are posted for Burns & McDonnell in Melbourne. The firm plans to double the size of the team by next year and have at least 50 employee-owners in the office by 2025.
“Aerospace projects have greatly evolved over the past decade,” said Rich Mahaley, Vice President and Manager for Burns & McDonnell in Orlando. “Companies we partner with are sending groundbreaking satellites and spacecraft into orbit, and new companies have emerged on Florida’s Space Coast that are revolutionizing the space industry. We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with our commercial aerospace partners on these transformative projects.”
