Hunt's career includes managing several projects throughout the state of Florida, including the southeast’s first dedicated orthopedic hospital, Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in Orlando, Florida; the transformative Coachman Park in Clearwater, Florida; and the complex construction and expansion of Lee Health Gulf Coast Medical Center.

Hunt has 28 years of experience in the construction industry, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Account Manager for Skanska in Florida, a role he has held since 2018. In addition to his work in the industry, Hunt leads Skanska’s partnership with the University of South Florida’s mentoring program designed to support the Tampa Bay region’s diverse-owned small businesses in the construction industry, serves as a board member at Carrollwood Day School, volunteers for Metropolitan Ministries, and is a graduate of the 2022 class of Leadership Tampa.

Hunt is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
