Cook has been the President of Abonmarche for the past 15 years and has been with the company for 28 years. Abonmarche is a civil engineering, architecture, surveying, planning, landscape architecture, and coastal engineering firm with offices in Michigan and Indiana. Cook graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and became a licensed engineer in 1991. He is currently licensed in both Michigan and Indiana.
In addition to being the current President of ACEC/M, he has also served as President of MSPE and was named Young Engineer of the Year in 1995. He is a member of the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society. He is the current Treasurer of the St. Joseph Public Schools Board of Education and a member of the City of St. Joseph’s Zoning Board Authority. Cook has a history of community service, which led to him receiving the ACEC National Community Service Award.
ACEC/M is the association representing the business interests of Michigan engineering, surveying, architectural, and related scientific firms who provide professional knowledge to the built environment and strive to protect the health and safety of the public.
