DETROIT, MI — WSP welcomes Andy Doctoroff as Project Delivery Manager and Senior Vice President of Program Management in the U.S. He is based in Detroit, Michigan, and will maintain a national profile. Doctoroff oversees client relationships and leads multi-disciplinary teams of advisors, planners, engineers, and technical experts for major transportation facilities nationwide, operating in a broad spectrum of transportation and urban development disciplines.

Doctoroff most recently led the Office of Project Delivery within the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Transportation, which was created to improve delivery of complex projects funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
For more than a decade, Doctoroff oversaw and managed all aspects of Michigan’s involvement in the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project, a $6.4 billion CAD megaproject at one of the busiest commercial crossings between Canada and the U.S. Doctoroff served as the primary point of contact and senior advisor to Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and as a private consultant to Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who also appointed him to the Mackinac Corridor Straits Authority, which oversees the Line 5 pipeline tunnel project.
Doctoroff is a graduate of Harvard College with a bachelor’s degree in government, and the University of Michigan Law School with a juris doctor degree, where he serves as an adjunct professor of infrastructure. He received the 2023 Jewish Community Relations Council/American Jewish Committee’s Community Bridge Builders Award.
