HOUSTON, TX — Skanska, a global construction and development firm, signed a contract with Harris Health System for the construction of a new four-story Harris Health Central Fill Pharmacy and associated departments. The new building will incorporate spaces on levels 1 and 2, allowing for the flexible expansion of clinical spaces in the future. This strategic planning ensures the new facility can adapt to evolving needs and continue to provide comprehensive and efficient health care services.
“We are proud to take part in the expansion of the Harris Health System and its services,” said Dennis Yung, Skanska USA Building Houston Executive Vice President and General Manager. “Their investment in our communities’ health and commitment to patient access shines through this project.”
The 60,000-square-foot, $54 million project is scheduled to begin in November, with expected completion in May 2026.
