TWDB Approves Financial Assistance Totaling $113.48M for Water and Wastewater Projects

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) approves financial assistance totaling approximately $113.48 million for water and wastewater projects.

  • $8.4 million to the City of Shallowater (Lubbock County) for water and wastewater system improvements
  • $20 million to the City of Waco (McLennan County) for a lead service line replacement project
  • $4 million to the City of Fort Worth (Tarrant County) to address emerging contaminants
  • $3.14 million to the Greater Texoma Utility Authority on behalf of Ravenna-Nunnelee Water Supply Corporation (Fannin County) for water system improvements
  • $914,000 to the English Acres Water System (Jim Wells County) for water system improvements
  • $5.79 million to the City of Los Fresnos (Cameron County) for wastewater system improvements
  • $4.23 million to the City of Brady (McCulloch County) for water system improvements
  • $7.35 million to Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 215 (Harris County) for wastewater system improvements
  • $22.71 million to the City of Paducah (Cottle County) for water system improvements
  • $475,000 to the Penelope Water Supply Corporation (Hill County) for water system improvements
  • $12.8 million to the Red River County Water Supply Corporation (Red River County) for water system improvements
  • $1 million to the City of San Marcos (Hays County) for wastewater system improvements
