Texas Water Development Board Approves Financial Assistance Totaling $94.8M for Water and Wastewater Projects

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) approves financial assistance totaling $94.8 million for water and wastewater projects.

  • $2.26 million to the City of Brady (McCulloch County) for water distribution system improvements
  • $5.23 million to the City of Brady (McCulloch County) for a lead service line replacement project
  • $11.56 million to the City of Devine (Medina County) for a lead service line replacement project
  • $3.9 million to the City of Blanco (Blanco County) for a water system project
  • $4.1 million to the City of Mission (Hidalgo County) for a water treatment plant expansion project
  • $59 million to the City of Fort Worth (Tarrant County) for wastewater treatment plant improvements
  • $2.88 million to the Greater Texoma Utility Authority on behalf of Arledge Ridge Water Supply Corporation (Grayson County) for water system improvements
  • $5.88 million to the City of Cut and Shoot (Montgomery County) for water system improvements

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, and agricultural water conservation projects.
