Balfour Beatty U.S. Buildings Celebrates 20 Years of Building Austin and Central Texas

Balfour Beatty’s U.S. Building team has been serving construction clients in the Austin and Central Texas region since 2020. A leader in construction management, the company has worked in a variety of market sectors including corporate, commercial, educational, and tenant finish-out.
Recently, the company partnered with the Texas Facilities Commision (TFC) on the Capitol Complex Project, a $900-million effort to create a destination that celebrates the capitol and centralizes all state agencies. The project consists of the construction of the Central Utility Plant, the George H.W. Bush State Office Building, 601 Congress State Office Buildng, and the North Congress Pedestrian Mall. Balfour Beatty serves as the construction manager agent and is overseeing the effort with Page, an architecture and engineering firm, on behalf of the TFC.
Other recent projects include Austin Independent School District’s new headquarters and the reconstruction of three residential towers in the Austin skyline: The Austonian, The Independent, and Northshore.
