Although this is HWH’s first DFW location, the company has a history of serving well-known businesses in the area. HWH and architect, GSR Andrade, recently renovated the Dallas Fair Park Aquarium interior, performed repairs to the Dallas Fair Park Music Hall, and installed numerous design elements to the Dallas Fair Park African American Museum. Additionally, in 2021, HWH will finish the construction of the Melissa ISD indoor practice facility, Texas’ largest high school practice facility to date. The new location will aid HWH in continuing its DFW-based customer relationships and provide a basis for further developments across the Metroplex.
“By expanding into the DFW Metroplex, HWH is offering convenient access for all of our North Texas customers and also providing our employees with a great quality of life in a vibrant city,” said Jordan Harper, CEO of HWH. “We will add approximately 10 new jobs in this location initially. However, we expect to see steady company-wide growth as we serve North Texas’ diverse market construction needs and take advantage of Collin County’s labor force of more than half a million as we add to our team.”
The new HWH headquarters is a part of the Historic Downtown McKinney. The building itself, once home to the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, also housed the Texas Power & Light Company in the mid-1900s.
