DALLAS, TX — Construction Discovery Experts (CDE), a new eDiscovery and consulting firm, is launching with its headquarters in Dallas. CEO Brett Lamb, a former General Counsel for Austin Industries, is aiming to make CDE the go-to teammate for the construction industry through his team’s eDiscovery expertise and familiarity with the industry itself.
“Construction Discovery Experts was an idea that came to life after years of practicing construction law, at a large law firm and as an in-house construction lawyer. My experiences confirmed that there is really no ‘one-stop-shop’ for legal technology that speaks the same language as construction companies,” Lamb said. “CDE takes clients through the entire litigation process with what I believe is an unmatched level of service and knowledge, from choosing the right eDiscovery platform to creating processes that equip our clients to win.”
CDE not only provides eDiscovery consulting expertise and efficiency for construction lawyers, but also eDiscovery platforms outfitted for construction disputes. CDE works with clients to customize eDiscovery platforms, creating a more efficient way to sift through electronic evidence necessitated by construction projects’ larger-than-usual datasets.

The leadership and consultant bench of CDE includes legal, technology, and construction experts who have experience with eDiscovery in large, high profile construction cases. In addition to the leadership of Lamb, Abeyta oversees CDE’s consulting services, client development, recruitment, and training. Founder, Steve Ganss serves as CFO and uses his operational and business background to create financial reporting to clients.
CDE’s senior consultant team includes Litigator Kat Meyer, former President of Conquest Ediscovery and Attorney at international law firm Jones Day, Ron Tienzo, and Debbie Jones who has more than 30 years of construction litigation experience.
