“I’m honored to lead our 100 employees here in Dayton and to continue to strengthen our customer relationships,” Schnelle said. “I look forward to building even more partnerships with the organizations and communities that make this area so special.”
Schnelle began his career with Messer in 1998 as a co-op, while studying construction management at the University of Cincinnati. Upon graduating in 2002, he was hired on full time as a Project Manager in the Dayton region.
Schnelle has provided leadership across a portfolio of projects throughout the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus regions, including Mount Carmel St. Ann’s, Dayton International Airport, McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Alkermes, Boy Scouts Scout Achievement Center, and Boy Scouts Cricket Holler Training Center. He also served as the Account Lead for all of Messer’s projects at Miami University, overseeing nearly $200 million worth of construction projects.
Schnelle is active in the Dayton community — serving on the boards of The Boys and Girls Club of Dayton, Habitat for Humanity Dayton, and the Ohio Valley Associated Builders and Contractors. He is a past board member for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Butler County and a graduate of Leadership Dayton Class of 2019.
