NEW YORK, NY — STV’s Marcos Díaz González has been recognized by City & State New York as one of its 2025 Trailblazers in Transportation, a distinction honoring forward-thinking leaders who are reimagining New York’s mobility landscape.

Díaz González was recognized on this list — which encompasses top transportation leaders, including executives, policymakers, advocates, innovators, and more — for his commitment to building strong, multidisciplinary teams, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and advancing innovation to deliver smarter, more resilient solutions.

“It’s an honor to be recognized alongside so many talented peers working to shape a more connected and equitable transportation future for New York,” Díaz González said. “Whether it’s helping enhance connectivity with the Grand Central Terminal passenger tunnel, transforming commuting in the Northeast Corridor with the Gateway Program Hudson River Tunnel, advancing the work around Portal North Bridge, or spearheading design of accessibility improvements for New York City subway stations and Staten Island Railway networks, this recognition reflects the work of an extraordinary team at STV and our shared commitment to delivering infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of the communities we serve.”

As President of STV’s transportation operations across the Northeast, including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, Díaz González aims to drive key client service and strategic growth in one of the nation’s most complex transportation networks.

With more than 25 years of experience in the AEC industry, Díaz González brings expertise in operations, project execution, program management, and business development across multiple market sectors. Díaz González also serves as Chair of the board of the Architecture Construction Engineering Mentor Program of Greater New York, Past Chair of the Gowanus Canal Conservancy, Vice Chair of the Advisory Board of Columbia University’s Center for Buildings, Infrastructure, and Public Spaces, and an Advisory Board Member of the Eno Center for Transportation in Washington, D.C.
