Patel previously worked for NJDOT for more than 30 years, most recently as a Project Manager overseeing complex capital projects, including the replacement of the Route 72 Causeway over the Manahawkin Bay, the replacement of the Route 7 Wittpenn Bridge over the Hackensack River, the Route 35 reconstruction project, as well as 11 miles of pavement repair and rubblization along I-295.
Patel holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College in India. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Public Manager.
