Addyson Lyons, PE,
Christine Lilholt, PE, PTOE, and
Diego Cabezas to a growing transportation team in VHB’s Northeast Region.

Addyson Lyons
As Senior Project Engineer, Lyons will produce and deliver transportation projects from study through the construction administration phase, leveraging her knowledge of highways to manage the development of technical design and specification documents. Prior to joining VHB, Lyons partnered with a range of clients, including private businesses, local municipalities, New York State counties, and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). Lyons has experience as a Highway Engineer and has overseen a myriad of transportation project types, including pavement rehabilitation and bridge replacement projects, utilizing federal, state, and client-specific standards.
Lyons holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York. Lyons is an active member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services, New York State Association of Transportation Engineers, the American Society of Highway Engineers where she is a Director, and a committee member/Logistics Coordinator for the annual Capital District Future City Competition.
Christine Lilholt
As Project Manager, Lilholt will partner with clients to develop solutions and successful project outcomes. Lilholt's 28 years of experience includes leading and managing traffic impact analyses, transportation master plans, corridor studies, intermodal facility planning and design, and circulation studies. Her work for federal, state, regional, and local agencies, as well as institutions and private developers across the region will add insight to VHB's transportation practice.
Lilholt holds a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, Massachusetts, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia. Lilholt obtained her Professional Traffic Operations Engineer Certification and is an active member in the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
Diego Cabezas
Cabezas brings significant experience working with Geographic Information Systems technology. As Traffic Designer, Cabezas will be responsible for supporting the transportation team with urban and suburban transportation planning, simulation modeling, data management, and spatial analysis, as well as drafting and map production. Cabezas' experience working for various New York City agencies, including the Department of Transportation and City Planning, will help guide VHB's team in the production of comprehensive materials for clients.
Cabezas holds a Bachelor of Science in sustainable urban environments from New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering.
