JACKSON, MS — Neel-Schaffer announces a key addition to its employee talent and development efforts. Tara Chrisco, a human resources leader with three decades of experience in employee development, coaching, and organizational effectiveness, is the new Senior Manager, Talent and Organizational Development.
With this newly created role, Neel-Schaffer aims to equip its employees with the tools, resources, and pathways needed to thrive as the company grows across its nine-state footprint.
“Tara’s background and approach to cultivating talent aligns with where we are as a company and with our firm’s growth goals,” said Anna Marie Chapman, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Neel-Schaffer. “Her strategic insight and passion for developing people make her a valuable addition to our team.”
In her new role, Chrisco will shape and lead comprehensive development programs for Neel-Schaffer and its affiliated firms, Maptech and True North.
“Training is just one sliver of what development actually is,” Chrisco said. “Our learning doesn’t come from just the classroom or training; it comes from our experiences on the job, learning from others, mentoring programs, and such.”
