CHARLOTTE, NC — Balfour Beatty announces the promotion of Hunt Werner to Vice President in the Carolinas. Previously Senior Director of Business Acquisition, Werner will now oversee operations and business acquisition in Charlotte and South Carolina, where he leads teams in implementing the geography’s client-focused sales and business model.
Werner joined Balfour Beatty in 2006, starting his journey in Georgia, where he played a pivotal role in the delivery of projects such as Buckhead Village and The Avenue in Tennessee. After relocating to Charlotte and over the past decade, he has been instrumental in managing a diverse portfolio in the Carolinas that spans retail, hospitality, corporate headquarters, legal office, dining establishments, health care facilities, recreational complexes, educational institutions, and public institutions.
Through Werner's expertise and ability to forge relationships with Balfour Beatty’s clients and industry partners, he has led project teammates to successful completions of a multitude of projects across various market sectors. These projects include the Reynolds American, Inc. Plaza Restack in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Barings Headquarters’ interior office build-out in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the City of Lexington City Centre in Lexington, North Carolina.
