CHARLOTTE, NC — Swinerton Builders (Swinerton), a commercial general contractor with offices nationwide, is poised and ready for continued growth throughout the East Coast, bolstered by promotions in the Carolinas division. Swinerton expects construction projects along the East Coast will generate nearly $450 million of revenue in 2025, driving revenue growth for the firm’s regional divisions.
“Seven years ago, Swinerton landed on the East Coast with the opening of the Atlanta and Charlotte offices, and we haven’t slowed since,” said Derek Mosiman, Vice President, Division Manager for Swinerton’s Atlanta division. “Collectively, the divisions along the East Coast have established their irrefutable reputations of deep knowledge across a variety of target markets, working for popular public companies, government entities, as well as Fortune 500 names in health care, education, hospitality, multifamily, and general business. Not only is our success attributable to our refined construction acumen, but also our distinctive culture. And now more than ever, we’re equipped to build our presence even more.”
The Carolinas division is fortifying its expected growth with additional talent. Promoted to Operations Manager, Allan Williams reinforces Swinerton with his $1.2 billion of construction experience. Williams plays a key role in the firm’s operations, offering his design-build knowledge and field expertise to the construction process. Ethan Zisk transfers from Swinerton’s Seattle office as Project Manager with 11 years of construction experience in markets such as K-12 education, office, and parking structures. In addition, three Carolinas professionals were promoted to Project Executive:
- Carly Morris, a 17-year industry veteran who has completed $488 million of health care construction
- Kyle Bailey, a 14-year expert who has tackled $260 million in construction projects
- Thomas Ivy, a 13-year professional who has completed $239 million of builds and specializes in commercial interiors
“Carly, Thomas, and Kyle are armed with local expertise and have led their teams with integrity, executed projects with excellence, and partnered with transparency to successfully represent Swinerton throughout the Carolinas,” said Kevin Smith, Vice President, Division Manager for Swinerton’s Carolinas division. “Their roles as construction stewards ensure our continued growth and secure our leadership role in the economic growth of the Carolinas.”
