JASPER, TN — After 29 years in the steel form and manufacturing industry, Richard (Rick) Lail of Lookout Mountain has created a new firm — Lail Bridge Forms. The move is intended to serve existing customers more efficiently, with elevated technology, and to garner new business with a now larger manufacturing facility. Rick recently brought his staff of veteran engineers to the organization’s new offices.

Rick, a native Chattanoogan, worked alongside his father, Gene Lail, for more than two decades at Southern Forms — a company where both Lail senior and junior were Owner/Partners. After Gene’s passing in 2014, Rick had his eye on transforming his father’s dream for him into reality. At nearly the same stage in his career that Gene started Southern Forms, Rick is opening his firm — Lail Bridge Forms.

"We have found his team’s engineering and quality of forming systems to be the best in the industry. From footing, columns, diaphragms, barrier to segmental forms, PCL could have never achieved the level of excellence without his partnership."

The organization offers an array of products including beam form panels, segmental casting machines, friction collars, bracket jacks, round column forms, barrier rail forms, and all manner of miscellaneous steel fabrication including pile templates, rebar jigs, stanchion columns, and more.

Since 1991, Rick has provided steel forms across the United States, the Caribbean, and Canada.
