LANSING, MI — With a corporate office in St. Louis, Missouri, and local branch offices spread across the Midwest in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, and Wisconsin, Seiler Geospatial has a lot of territory to cover and plenty of customers to thank. While offering certified training and support, equipment, sales, and service to these customers every day of the year, Seiler Geospatial is aware that without their customers, there is no business. Their annual Customer Appreciation Day open houses, which took place recently at all their locations, are a way to say thank you to these customers.
Executive Vice President Tom Seiler, along with the Seiler Geospatial staff, were on hand to greet customers, express their appreciation, and answer any questions those attending might have. Demos and presentations for all the latest equipment that Seiler Geospatial offers, as well as barbecue, giveaways, and the chance to win door prizes, were all part of the festivities.
“We're grateful for our customer partner relationships,” Seiler said. “And really, we're focused on building and strengthening our teams in order to better serve and support our customers. We are the Geospatial Center of Excellence team of caring professionals, and our vision is to be the best partner in the world for our customers, vendors, and our own colleagues.”
“We have a new mission, which is to make the customer’s problem our problem, and we really want to be a solutions partner, not just a product vendor," he added. "We've also come up with some new team values for everybody, and it starts with customer, teamwork, integrity, quality, and then stewardship. We're just really grateful for all the relationships and all the partners across our territories, and we truly appreciate them.”
Matt Davis, Territory Sales Representative with Seiler GeoDrones, was on hand to demonstrate the drone technology. “We have a lot of new gear out including our flagship DJI line, the drones that are the most popular," he said. "Everyone loves drones, and we are not too far away from them being a very common part of our lives. It is exciting to be right there on that leading edge of technology and seeing how it is going to impact what we do.”

Of particular interest to attendees was the DJI Dock 2 model. “That's the drone in the box,” Davis said. “The idea with this is that we can put it anywhere, and as long as it's got power and data connection, it can be launched remotely from anywhere in the world. There are a million uses. The construction guys like it because they can fly a site weekly just to get an idea of any updates to a project.”
