Enprotech Industrial Technologies Expands Manufacturing Operations

LANSING, MI — Enprotech Industrial Technologies (EIT) will complete an expansion project at its facility in Lansing, Michigan. The expanded facility will add 43,500 square feet of manufacturing space to the existing 35,000-square-foot building, more than doubling the size of the Industrial Parkway operations.

This project is the largest capital investment in EIT history, in addition to which, the company has made multi-million dollar investments in facilities and equipment over the last two years within its Metal Forming Division located in Lansing, Michigan, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Saltillo, Mexico.

“Investing in our business is a key element in supporting our growth initiatives and building a long term sustainable business. This expansion will allow us to consolidate our Michigan manufacturing operations under one roof, providing greater quality and efficiency to our valued customers,” said Tom Leonti, President of the Metal Forming Division at Enprotech. “We are looking forward to having a centralized location in Michigan for our team members and customers.”

The company will extend its large and small assembly bays and its machine shop, along with a new welding shop and parts warehouse. Additionally, new CNC machines and a heat-treating furnace will be installed. The existing parts warehouse will be repurposed to accommodate an increase in customer demands for the field service department team.

Operations will continue at the company’s existing Olds Avenue facility until the Industrial Parkway addition is complete. The Olds Avenue facility located in Lansing will be sold as manufacturing operations are moved to the larger, updated space.
