Barton Malow managed construction services on the building that features computer information science labs, 17 breakout spaces, 15 classrooms including a cyber security classroom, lecture halls, outdoor learning spaces, and a new mechanical tunnel to tie into existing utilities. Additional labs include microbiology, physics, biology, and chemistry.
The ribbon-cutting event featured remarks from Barton Malow Chairman Doug Maibach, OCC Chancellor Peter Provenzano Jr., OCC Board of Trustees Chair Pamela Jackson, Michigan Economic Development Corp. CEO Quentin Messer Jr., and OCC Associate Dean of Math + Science Leah Aggison.
