The Yu Ying Charter School, a Chinese immersion charter school, fosters a multicultural and bilingual educational environment for pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students. Once finished, the new three-story, 30,000-square-foot early learning center will offer a modern learning environment with classrooms and playgrounds. The building will have a green roof and will target LEED Gold certification.

The facility will be completed on a fast-track construction schedule, including hardscaping, landscaping, and bioretention pond creation. Gilbane is preparing to deliver the project for the 2024-2025 school year. This project is located on a shared campus with the Washington Latin Charter School, requiring constant communication between the two project teams through design, construction, and turnover.
