Rella has served in several leadership and management roles during his 30-year tenure at HDR. He has supported the planning, permitting, design, construction, and monitoring of numerous waste to energy, transfer, materials recovery, drop-off, and composting facilities across North America and around the world. Rella led the design of the DeKalb County, Georgia, Central Transfer Station, which was the second transfer station facility in the country to earn LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
“As I have throughout my career, I look forward to developing long-lasting, safe, and efficient facilities for all our clients,” Rella said.
Rella is a Professional Engineer, and holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Manhattan College.
