Kubota’s newest facility will consist of engineering offices, workshops, and testing buildings, as well as large-scale grading and development of several outdoor test courses for turf, utility vehicles, tractors, and other construction and agricultural-related equipment.
“This facility is the fourth and final link in what will complete the global chain of Kubota R&D facilities in Japan, Thailand, Europe, and now North America, enabling Kubota to realize our goal to have products under development 24 hours per day for markets around the world,” said Haruyuki (Harry) Yoshida, President and CEO of Kubota North America and Kubota Tractor Corporations. “With the investment in this new facility, Kubota takes a giant leap into a new era of growth and success in North America, making it possible to design new products here, manufacture them here, and to sell these new products all across the country.”
“The equipment manufacturing industry is a core pillar of the Peach State’s economy, supporting nearly 39,000 jobs for hardworking Georgians and a $4-billion economic impact each year. I was honored to join Kubota Tractor Corporation for the groundbreaking of their newest facility as they expand their footprint in Georgia,” Kemp said. “I want to thank Kubota for their continued commitment to creating opportunity for the people of Georgia.”
