At CONEXPO-CON/AGG, Link-Belt Cranes introduced two new models, available for shipment in the third quarter of 2026.
The TCC-1800, a 180-ton telescopic crawler crane, slots in between Link-Belt’s 250-ton TCC-2500 and 140-ton TCC-1400.
The TCC-1800 is fitted with a 42.7-197.3-foot greaseless, six-section pin and latch boom combined with a 55-foot bifold hydraulically offsetable SmartFly and up to three 18-foot lattice extensions, achieving a maximum tip height of 314 feet.
Other features such as a Stage V/Tier 4 Final Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engine with auto-idle help reduce fuel consumption while meeting horsepower needs. An available auxiliary power unit (APU) keeps essential cab systems like climate control, crane displays, radio, and lighting powered without running the main engine. This reduces idle time and saves fuel while keeping operators comfortable and productive.
The TCC-1800 also features centralized grease and electrical locations, a wireless rigging remote, fall arrest anchors, and swing boundary poles. New ergonomic, dual-axis controls provide free swing and auto brake capabilities.

With Link-Belt’s Pulse 2.0 Rated Capacity Limiter, a few taps of the 10-inch touchscreen display allow an operator to set ground bearing pressure alarms or use fine metering for precise picks. Integrated within the display are easy-to-use onboard diagnostics that keep the TCC-1800 running at peak performance with Wi-Fi updates and remote troubleshooting.
Link-Belt designed the crane for full self-assembly capabilities. The TCC-1800 main unit ships under 108,000 pounds with boom, main and auxiliary wire ropes, a 120-ton hook block, and a 10-foot hydraulic offsetable SmartFly.
Additionally, the TCC-1800 is Link-Belt’s first model to include two independent extension cylinders for each side frame. This allows smooth extension and retraction of the tracks, all controlled from the cab to achieve Variable Confined Area Lifting Capacities, affording the crane infinite track positioning and nine different 360-degree lifting charts with pick and carry, including counter rotation.
With its ability to retract its boom and tracks to maneuver under low, narrow structures, the TCC-1800 can adapt quickly to challenging environments.

Link-Belt Cranes also introduced the 248|V, a 200-ton lattice crawler crane, building on the foundation of Link-Belt’s 248 models with advancements in efficiency and versatility.
The HSL-2 Load Moment Limiter 12-inch touchscreen display, linked with telematics, provides real-time geometrical data with images and operator alerts — including wind speed, list, trim and ground bearing pressures — for conventional and luffing applications. It also provides counterweight sensing and step-guided calibrations with advanced diagnostics to help operators make quick, informed decisions.
The 248|V also features an available HVAC auxiliary power unit to reduce fuel consumption and lower engine hours while keeping the operator comfortable during idle time. The APU extends the time between maintenance intervals of the Cummins QSB6.7 Stage V/Tier 4 Final engine, which delivers peak horsepower for multi-function performance and allows for simultaneous operation of the swing, rear, front, third drum, and boom hoist winch without compromising power or efficiency.
LED reduced-glare lighting brightens the job site, and a swing boundary system adds another measure of reliability on congested job sites. To improve efficiency, the 248|V features a new hydraulic upper counterweight removal system that streamlines disassembly and reduces setup time.

The 248|V offers conventional boom lengths from 55 to 285 feet and provides fixed jib lengths from 30 to 100 feet. Its 20-foot, heavy-duty combination top supports its fixed jib, luffing attachment, 30-ton heavy-duty tip extension, and pile driving leads.
The 248|V also features power pack mounting lugs on the upper frame that make it ideal for pile driving and vibratory hammer work. Quick-reeve, button-style wire rope terminators simplify rigging and reduce setup time.
A newly engineered 25-foot base section ships with the main load at 90,500 pounds, a design that saves a full truckload during transport. It includes standard features such as a reeving winch with free spooling, a quick-draw self-assembly cylinder, luffing pinning locations, and bar pendant storage points.
For projects requiring extended reach, the 248|V’s new 48-ton-capacity luffer provides luffing lengths from 85 to 185 feet with offsets ranging from 88 to 65 degrees, allowing operators to work over structures. An optional tip extension adds more reach and load line separation. The luffing jib fan posts are supported by an all-in-one transport pack integrated into the luffing base section, enabling self-assembly.

The machine also comes with a 10-foot extension with an optional third drum that delivers precision for luffing applications as well as high line speed for pile driving. The combined transport weight of the 10-foot extension and the third drum is just 9,100 pounds.
