“Chad continues to exemplify what it means to be an employee-owner through his significant contributions to growing our business in Texas and his efforts with the Sundt Foundation,” said Joe Dooley, Senior Vice President and Texas District Manager for Sundt’s Transportation Group. “He has been instrumental in the growth and stability of our operations in Central Texas and continues to mentor the next group of leaders within our organization. His experience, relationships, and willingness to roll up his sleeves and get things done have served him well, and we look forward to his continued success and professional development.”
In his new role, Yount will oversee operations for Sundt’s offices in Central Texas and Dallas-Fort Worth. During his 16 years at Sundt, Yount has worked on some of the company’s largest projects including the San Pedro Creek Culture Park in San Antonio and Sellwood Bridge in Portland, Oregon. He began his career with Sundt as an intern and advanced through multiple roles in preconstruction and field operations.
Sundt specializes in transportation, industrial, building, concrete, and renewable power work and is owned entirely by its approximately 2,500-plus employees.
