LAN will be assisting in the expansion of Crosby High School, improving the running track, and planning for future facility upgrades. Located in the unincorporated area of northeast Harris County, Texas, LAN will be helping CISD navigate facility growth and sustainment of the district’s objectives of campus growth.
CISD is currently in the process of expanding Crosby High School and is expected to be complete by June 2025. The expansion comes as a result of an increase in enrollment over the last several years. These changes mean that the district will be able to increase over 30 percent of current capacity to 2,490 students. The bond initiative is part of the district’s master plan to prepare for future facility and property needs to meet the trend in growth, maintain the goal of smaller class sizes, and to continue the expansion of advanced academics, career preparation, and campus technology.
“The district’s improvements and expansion will benefit students and the community," said JP Grom, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, PMP, CCM, LAN Vice President and Director of LAN’s Program Management team. "Being involved in this project is a privilege for LAN, and we welcome the opportunity to improve the learning experience for Crosby students.”
