Martinez has overseen a wide range of infrastructure projects throughout his career. His expertise includes developing and optimizing traffic signal systems, performing traffic studies, designing intelligent transportation systems solutions, contributing to campus master plans, and comprehensive transportation planning initiatives.
Prior to joining HNTB, Martinez served as a Principal Team Director for another consulting firm. Martinez has also served as a Civil Engineering Senior Design Evaluator at The University of Texas at El Paso for the past eight years which allows him to support students in their final year of study. He holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso. Martinez is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
