Following the success of EVO’s first San Antonio-area location in Schertz, which opened less than one year ago, the second location will also feature entertainment with 10 push-button dine-in service auditoriums with 4K laser projection, heated recliner seating, and a full dine-in menu from EVO’s scratch kitchen. In addition, two auditoriums will feature the EVX enhanced viewing experience, showcasing 80-foot curved screens and Dolby Atmos sound. EVO San Antonio will also provide EVO’s largest game floor to date with over 7,000 square feet of gaming technology, including an EVOVR Omni Arena, an overhead ropes course suspended over the game floor, and 12 bowling lanes, including a rentable four-lane VIP area.
“We love San Antonio, and we couldn’t think of a better place to build our biggest and best entertainment destination yet,” said Mitch Roberts, CEO of EVO Entertainment Group. “Since creating the cinema-hybrid concept in 2014, we’ve continuously pushed ourselves to raise the bar, improving and adapting our model each step of the way and never building the same building twice. EVO at the Escala is going to set a new standard, not just in San Antonio but across the entire industry.”
EVO San Antonio will also offer a restaurant, bar, private event spaces, and outdoor patio complete with fire pits, TV’s, and games. EVO San Antonio will be home to EVO Entertainment Group's signature scratch kitchen menu, with more than 30 beers on draft and craft cocktails, including EVO Patron.
N3 Real Estate is the developer behind the 24-acre Escala development. The Escala development is being leased by Zach Parra and Bethany Babcock of Foresite Commercial Real Estate.
