TEXO Awards AP with Distinguished Building Award and Casey Mitschke with Magnolia Award
In addition, AP’s Preconstruction Manager, Casey Mitschke, was awarded the 2019 TEXO Magnolia Award. This award recognizes an outstanding woman in construction who excels in her work and is proactive about making a difference in the industry and in the community. Mitschke is dedicated to her job, the younger women in the company and her passion to give back to the greater good. Outside of work, she dedicates a large portion of her time to volunteering at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children through various fundraisers and activities.
“We are beyond proud of Casey winning the Magnolia Award this year,” said Corbett Nichter, AP’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Following an internship with AP years ago, Casey was hired full-time and immediately hit the ground running, becoming a valued member of the preconstruction team. She has an outstanding work-ethic and focuses on creating and maintaining a positive team environment, which directly impacts the unique culture and performance that drives AP. In addition, I can’t say enough about our project team who put so much of themselves into this project. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity and recognition as it highlights our commitment to be a successful national builder.”
The TEXO Distinguished Building Awards embody the skill, commitment and passion that TEXO members have for construction. Winning an award through TEXO automatically qualifies projects for the State and National Award competitions for both Associated Builders and Contractors and Associated General Contractors of America.
