“At Pfluger, we’re inspiring people to create a more meaningful human experience and building a culture of learning and design,” said Terry Hoyle, Pfluger’s CEO. “We’re pleased to welcome each of our new team members, who are dedicated to creating spaces that inspire and engage. Their leadership, energy, and insightfulness will contribute significantly to the communities we serve.”
Pfluger’s work and calculated moves enable the firm to grow its teams, create new roles within the firm, elevate technological resources and tools, and engage in deeper research and benchmarking. In the past year, Pfluger made several strategic hires to enhance its ability to serve its clients. Recent additions to the Pfluger team include:
- Connie Rivera, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, as Co-Managing Principal of the Corpus Christi office.
- Brenda Swirczynski, a former educator and curriculum coordinator, as an Educational Facility Planner based in the Dallas office.
- Braden Haley, AIA, as Senior Project Manager in the San Antonio office.
- Cody Cunningham, as a Principal and Director of Communications and Community Engagement. In this role, he strengthens Pfluger’s bond planning and strategy services. With 114 employees across five Texas locations, Pfluger anticipates further expansion in 2024. The firm’s growth includes work on significant projects throughout Texas, including Burleson ISD’s Game Development & Design School, Texas City ISD’s STEM Center, Gregory-Portland ISD Elementary, Texas Lutheran University STEM Center, Del Valle High School in Austin, and three Denton ISD elementary schools, among others.
