COLLEGE STATION, TX — Dallas-based MYCON General Contractors, Inc. (MYCON) purchased and completed the interior renovation of a 6,500-square-foot office building in College Station, Texas. MYCON's Central Texas office has moved into the new building, doubling the available space to accommodate anticipated growth with ample office/workstations and a large conference/training room, along with natural light, common areas, and outdoor space.
“It is humbling to see where we started six years ago,” said Richard Dubec, Partner and Vice President of MYCON. “When we established the Central Texas office, it was our office manager, five superintendents, and myself. Today we have 86 employees based out of College Station.”
MYCON celebrated the opening of their new office with a ribbon-cutting event hosted in partnership with the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce. Approximately 80 guests, including College Station city officials, attended the event.
“I could not have asked for better partners and a better team,” said Charles R. Myers, President and Chief Executive Officer of MYCON. “Our people are at the center of what we do. We may have two offices, but we go out of the way to make sure we are one company.”
