Kort Joins Braun Intertec as Vice President of Service Delivery

AUSTIN, TX — Braun Intertec announces the addition of Denton Kort, PE to its leadership team as Vice President of Service Delivery and Texas Engineering and Testing. Kort brings more than 25 years of engineering experience to the 100% employee-owned geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and testing firm.

“I am excited to welcome Denton as the leader of our engineering and testing team in Texas,” said CEO Jon Carlson. “His grasp on client needs, coupled with his extensive operational and geotechnical engineering experience seamlessly aligns with our client-centric approach to service and will propel us toward our goal of becoming the consultant and employer of choice.”

In his new role, Kort will provide strategic oversight and spearhead service delivery for all Texas-based engineering and testing operations. As the Leader of Service Delivery, he will collaborate with clients and oversee the delivery of geotechnical engineering, drilling, laboratory, and construction services for projects in Texas. Kort will also regularly team with other Braun Intertec disciplines to deliver full-service solutions to the company’s clients.

Prior to joining Braun Intertec, Kort spent 25 years at Fugro as a Service Line Director with global experience specializing in foundation quality assurance and risk management. His technical specialties include geotechnical engineering, optimization of deep foundation design, construction quality assurance, load testing, instrumentation and monitoring, international business development, and international project management.

Kort earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Additionally, he holds a Master of Engineering in industrial and systems engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
