In his new role, Kort will provide strategic oversight and spearhead service delivery for all Texas-based engineering and testing operations. As the Leader of Service Delivery, he will collaborate with clients and oversee the delivery of geotechnical engineering, drilling, laboratory, and construction services for projects in Texas. Kort will also regularly team with other Braun Intertec disciplines to deliver full-service solutions to the company’s clients.
Prior to joining Braun Intertec, Kort spent 25 years at Fugro as a Service Line Director with global experience specializing in foundation quality assurance and risk management. His technical specialties include geotechnical engineering, optimization of deep foundation design, construction quality assurance, load testing, instrumentation and monitoring, international business development, and international project management.
Kort earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Additionally, he holds a Master of Engineering in industrial and systems engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
